2024 was a major milestone for Jump On Studios, marking the official creation of the studio and a significant expansion of my presence in the RedM community. This year was filled with important achievements and unexpected challenges.
The public release of jo_libs transformed how I approach development, but it also increased the workload, impacting support response times. These challenges provided an opportunity to consider long-term solutions, such as hiring a developer to help manage growth. Let’s revisit the highlights that made 2024 an exceptional year.
Key Achievements
New Scripts and Add-ons
The initial goal was ambitious: release six new scripts. Although this target wasn’t fully met, two major scripts and four add-ons were released, enhancing player experiences on RedM and FiveM:
- FiveM - Gun Rack: Intuitive management of weapon racks.
- RedM - Sheriff MDT: Streamlined dossier management for sheriffs.
- RedM - Horse Breeding: Immersive horse breeding system with realistic visuals.
- RedM - Wild Horses (add-on): Capture and management of wild horses.
- RedM - Hair & Beard Coloring (add-on): Advanced customization for hair and beards.
- RedM - Makeup & Lifestyle (add-on): New makeup and lifestyle options integrated into barbers.
Despite these successes, some projects like the gunsmith and inventory systems were postponed to 2025.
JO Libs: A Major Advancement
The biggest milestone of 2024 was the public release of jo_libs, my library for RedM developers. Designed to simplify and optimize development, it quickly became an essential tool. Key features include:
- Multi-framework compatibility: Supports VORP, RSG, and RedEM:RP.
- Powerful modules: Components to manage player clothing, pedTexture for makeup, timeout for script optimization, and more.
- Intuitive API: Speeds up script creation and component management.
jo_libs has significantly improved my workflow and is already making a considerable impact on the community.
New Visual Identity
To kickstart 2025, Jump On Studios now has an official logo! This logo represents the studio’s values: innovation, quality, and community connection. It also symbolizes an important step in professionalizing our activities.

Delays in Ticket Support
One of the challenges faced in 2024 was the increased response time for support tickets, particularly after the public release of jo_libs. This new tool significantly expanded my workload, leaving less time to address issues with existing scripts. While this was an unintended consequence of growth, it highlighted the need for better resource allocation.
To address this, I have prioritized recruiting a full-time developer in 2025. This will ensure faster responses to support requests, allowing us to maintain the quality and reliability expected by the community.
Community Contributions
Throughout 2024, I supported the RedM community through various initiatives:
- Practical guides: Published helpful articles, including a guide on choosing frameworks.
- Collaborations with servers: Delivered custom projects for servers like Entropy and 1900 RP.
- User support: Despite longer response times toward the end of the year, ticket management remained a top priority.
Goals for 2025
2025 promises to be an exciting year with plenty of new projects. Key priorities include:
- Character Creator release: The final version is scheduled for February.
- Recruitment: A new developer will join the team to improve support and speed up development.
- jo_libs: Continue enriching the library to make it indispensable.
- Reviving projects: Restart work on the gunsmith and inventory systems.
These ambitious goals reflect our commitment to innovation and meeting community expectations.
Conclusion
2024 was a pivotal year for Jump On Studios. It brought challenges, achievements, and, most importantly, invaluable lessons. Every step taken this year was driven by a shared ambition: to provide high-quality tools and scripts for the RedM community.
Thank you for your unwavering support, and see you in 2025 for an even more ambitious and exciting year!
