When you take a photo in RedM, the game generates PRDR files. These files aren’t readable by standard image viewers because they contain a JPEG image with extra data in the header. Here’s how to easily convert them.
Where to find PRDR files
If you’re looking for where RedM stores their PRDR screenshot files, here’s the exact location. Paste this path into your Windows File Explorer:
%UserProfile%\Saved Games\CitizenFX\RDR2
You will find files like:
PRDR000000000000
PRDR000000000001
These correspond to the screenshots taken through the Social Club menu and are the raw RDR2 photo files generated by RedM.
